Herofest LARP organise and run larping festival live action role playing weekends. We combine all of the fun of a festival weekend and the rich detail of an established campaign world, with none of the disadvantages of either. The result is an excellent weekend with an in-depth campaign background, allowing characters to immerse themselves into the LARP/LRP experience. The LARP events are aimed at each player becoming a part of an adventuring team called a Faction. Your Faction will have a number of larping missions that will set you in opposition or as allies to the various other LARP Factions on the event. Due to the number and variety of the missions, you may be allied to another Faction in the morning only to find you are fighting that very same Faction in the afternoon. You can join an existing faction as an individual, or as a group, and once you have experienced the events, you may even be able to start your own Faction, if you can gain enough supporters.

NO PRIOR LARP/LRP EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.
Herofest is a low hit and low LARP/ LRP fantasy system, which is easy to master. Each event is part of an overall campaign where players can shape the future plot but is also a self-contained adventure. No players are advantaged over another, whether this is your first or tenth event. A simple rule book and brief campaign summary, explaining everything you need to know, are available on request. Over the weekend you will become immersed in a detailed background plot whilst the different factions complete a variety of tasks and challenges to achieve their Factions goals. You start out as a mercenary for hire then can join the LARP faction of your choice at recruitment. At the events you will be able to purchase LARP/LRP goods; there will also be a bar and food available. Costumes, accessories, and weapons are available for hire from Herofest LARP if required.
HEROFEST LARP EVENTS ARE EASY TO GET TO AND RUN AT one of THE BEST LARP SITEs IN THE UK.
Historically, the LARP/LRP Festival events have been based at the Candleston Castle Campsite, near Bridgend, South Wales. Since 2022 we are now using the established LARP site of Huntley Wood, near Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. Both campsites are easily accessible, not far from motorways, and have on-site parking. There are permanent toilets and washrooms with showers and constant hot and cold running water, along with catering/tavern buildings. Each site has a good variety of terrain including woodland, small hills, large clearings and are 100% suitable for LARPing, having been used for over a decade.
