Herofest LARP/Lrp - Light & Dark Magic
IMPORTANT NOTES FOR LIGHT & DARK MAGIC SPELLS
Natural creatures (and other monsters) require no material component to cast spells.
Players must have the 'Caster Light & Dark Magic' skill and the appropriate spell card - either granted at the start of the event, or exchanged for the components with the Azad-An at the Tavern on the event.
Spell casting requires concentration it cannot be done whilst at anything more than walking pace and requires the caster to be within 20ft of the spells target and have 'reasonable' eye contact.
The components are only good for one casting of the spell.
This spell causes ice to cover the part of the target holding its weapon, which causes the weapon to fall to the ground.
(Incantation) - 'Lords of Light I summon thee forth and bind you to my charm, ice flow forth and make your weapon FUMBLE'
(Gesticulation) - Hold arm across front of body whilst incanting, the fling arm towards target upon last word then rip spell card
(Components) - 2 Silver & 1 Quartz
This spell causes a darkness to cover the eyes of one target opponent, which blinds them for 3 seconds
(Incantation) - 'Barons of Darkness I summon thee forth and bind you to my charm, waves of darkness cover their eyes causing BLINDNESS'
(Gesticulation) - Hold closed fist in front of body whilst incanting, Hold closed fist in front of body whilst incanting, open closed first to palm of spread fingers towards target upon last word then rip spell card
(Components) - 2 Tin & 1 Indigo
