Significant Moments
The highlight of the event was Saturday night when the Wizards Concillium spent some time attempting a major Ritual which would allow magic to be able to return to Orin Rakatha. It was found out that the Mistweaver and Hordelings vs Mystics and Shadowsfall war ended with all magic actually being banished from the world and a seal put in place to stop it ever returning.
The Wizards Concillium themselves did not seem that confident and two earlier castings previously that day had not been all that successful. Rumour has it that what the Labyrinth of Xenos did at last years Recruitment had caused a slight rip in the seal and the Concillium were going to widen this and make it more permanent. A portal gate was constructed and at the end of the ritual a rift appeared. Strange winds blew up from nowhere and members of those factions watching were pulled through into the rift. Then creatures began to appear and attack those present. Many looked to the Wizards Concillium to see if this was expected but the entire faction had suddenly gone for a brisk walk. Once the creatures had been dealt with the portal gate was then closed.
It appears that the outcome of all this is that there is now elemental magic upon Orin Rakatha. This means that there will be some use of magic and some items of magic that may now work. The Archchancellor and Boden Whitestaple, when questioned the next day, were both eager to see what effect this will all have - they both seemed genuinely surprised that they had been so successful.
