The Keepers LARP Faction

Tower Location: 

In all four corners of Orin Rakatha you will find a Shadowsfall Tower. Two of the towers will overlap their jurisdiction for each area of the land. The tower in the North East covers the Northern and Eastern areas of Orin rakatha, the Tower in the South East covers the Southern and Eastern lands, the North West the Northern and Western areas and the South west the Southern and Western sections of the world. This way every region of the world will have Shadowsfall from two towers patrolling the regions.

Tower Colours: 

With a nautical feel, the Keepers look like pirates, sporting tricorn hats , they also carry a symbol with a shield motif on its front (shield is red/burgundy and black halves with a white and black circle in the centre.

Summary:

The Shadowsfall claim to be the ancient law-keepers of the land of Orin Rakatha and are often found carrying out these duties. They held the first ever Towers on Orin Rakatha and have been around since they were created. They were first brought to Orin Rakatha to fight for the mystics in their war with the mistweavers. Unlike the other Shadowsfall towers the Keepers are not assassins for hire. They are extremely lawful and never betray a deal once an accord has been struck. This is always sealed with a pact in blood. Most Towers have a non communicative relationship with the Keepers. This tower of Shadowsfall tend not to become embroiled in the politics of Orin Rakatha and prefer to be seen as neutral travelers. However once the Keepers get wind of any ancient knowledge then only the brave or the foolish will attempt to stand in their path.

LARPing Notes:

The Shadowsfall were the first travelers to arrive upon Orin Rakatha. Prior to their arrival, Orin Rakatha was a land of Mistweavers and Mystics. The Shadowsfall were recruited by the Mystics to aid them in their struggle against the Mistweavers. By the Mystics power and the Shadowsfall’s efforts, the Orin Rakatha that we know today was forged. The Mystics made the Shadowsfall the custodians of the laws of Orin Rakatha. The Great Archive of the Shadowsfall (if it exists!), is rumoured to contain records of all significant events that have happened upon Orin Rakatha since their arrival. The Shadowsfall pride themselves on their neutrality.

Following the successful recruitment of the Shadowsfall, a second tower has now made itself known, that of the Keepers.

This tower of Shadowsfall tend not to become embroiled in the politics of Orin Rakatha and prefer to be seen as neutral travelers. However once the Keepers get wind of any ancient knowledge then only the brave or the foolish will attempt to stand in their path.

Diplomatic status with the other factions

The Keepers will start events with neutrality towards all other factions. This of course may change on the event and your actions as the players will affect diplomatic relations on future events.
