Anyone who books onto a Herofest LARP/LRP event can join the traders’ faction.
The people most likely to book onto this Herofest faction are as follows;
You are a trader selling live action role playing goods and/or items that the live role players are likely to purchase.
You are a friend partner or family member of a trader who fits into category 1 and would like to camp and stay in the same Herofest faction as them.
You are a non combatant and prefer the live role playing aspect of the weekend rather than the LARP combat side of Herofest.
You are part of the catering and/or tavern crew at Herofest but still wish to do some LARP/LRP as well.
Whatever your reasons here are the rules for all traders and members of the traders’ faction coming to Herofest.
Everyone pays the same as if they were a player and completes the booking form exactly as if they were joining in any of the other Herofest LARP factions.
When you arrive on the Friday you will have access to the LARP trader’s area where you can drive onto the site and set up/unload before taking your vehicle to the car park.
Although in character live role playing will be taking place on the Friday we will make allowances for everyone to be able to drive on site even those arriving after dark.
No access onto site by vehicles will be allowed on the Saturday or Sunday.
Time out is officially at midnight on the Sunday night. You will be able to drive onto site from the car park any time after 8am on the Monday morning.
We ask that all LARP traders make a donation equal to approximately 5% of their takings over the event as prizes.
There is plenty of space at Candleston for the traders to set up tents so you can have as much room as you like.
The LARP traders area, although in character, will be a non combat area the same as the campsite and the catering and tavern area. The only exception to this will be the stockade where challenges and personal/team LARP combats will be taking place throughout the weekend.
If there are any questions you would like to ask about any of the above or about Herofest in general please contact Mark Roberts markst@blueyonder.co.uk
