Herofest LARP Banquet Weekender

A celebration event of LARP players taking place at Blackfriars Priory,Blackfriars Lane, off Ladybellegate Street, Gloucester, on 3rd & 4th February 2012

This event is a social event aimed at LARPER’s and friends, giving us a chance to meet up, socialise and think about the year to come.

It will be held in the historic Dominican, or Blackfriars Priory, built in Gloucester in 1239 at the instigation of Sir Stephen de Hermshall.

The Weekender will consist of gaming sessions of Friday night and Saturday daytime, with the In character costumed banquet itself taking place on Saturday night, with the Nominus - a group of Medieval style Minstrels, entertaining

Event Details

Friday night will start at 6pm and will be an open board games and card games night concluding at midnight, so bring a game you want to share with others, During the day on Saturday 10.30am until 5pm, there may be several LARP traders for you to peruse and buy some gifts for the start of the LARP season. The Saturday evening banquet will be an in character costume banquet, with entertainment by Nominus, and will start at 7pm, with dinner being served at 7.15pm, and will conclude at midnight.

The Starter will be a Roast Vegetable and Pearl Barley Soup with Crusty Bread
The Main Course will be Roast Ham and Chicken or Leek & Mushroom Pie for Vegetarians, Creamy Mash and Honey Glazed Carrots & Beetroot
The Desert will be Apple Pie

All food will be Nut Free and we will be providing Gluten Free breads and pastry and vegetarian suitable potatoes, but please ensure you have emailed any dietary requirements before you attend - paul@herofest.co.uk
